Missouri Route 66 gets state scenic byway status

Tommy Pike, president of the Missouri Route 66 Association, said late Thursday on the Route 66 yahoogroup that Route 66 in Missouri has been designated a state scenic byway. I'll have more on this later when the Missouri Department of Transportation makes the announcement.
