Route 66 Corridor Program gets some ink

The Associated Press did a story about the Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program and its advisory council, which met in Oklahoma City last week.

Of particular (and deserving) focus is John Dunning, who is slowly renovating Owl Court in Oklahoma City into a small motel for Mother Road travelers. Dunning also is owner of the Western Trail Trading Post.

  1. We went by the Owl Court in October and found that there is still a lot of work to be done, but this is a very worthy project.

  2. I wanted to view the picture of Owl Court…also wondering how that restoration is coming along…when will it be open???
