A cell built for two

Mark and Sarah Owens of recently took a three-week trip on Route 66.

Here’s a clip of an odd but fascinating attraction that gets frequently overlooked — the two-cell jailhouse that was built more than a century ago in Gardner, Ill.

    Nice video of this attraction.

    The Route 66 community Cuba, MO has what we call our 1908 Calaboose. I am not sure if it was used as a one or two-celled jail.
    One or our Eagle Scouts did a little restoration on it for his Eagle Scout project.
