Laurel Kane signing marriage license

… Laurel Kane at Afton Station in Afton, Oklahoma, get ‘er done as a marriage officiant.

Kane presided over her first official nuptials Saturday for a couple that had been together for 13 years. You can read the details at her blog, but here are the important details for anyone else who’s considering getting hitched:

Anybody else want to get married? My services are available in the state of Oklahoma. In fact, I already have a firm date for another wedding in October, and this time it’s a big and formal one. I’m so excited!. This is so much fun that I wish I could make a career of it!

FYI, there’s also the Route 66 Wedding Chapel in Tucumcari, New Mexico, directly across the street from the Blue Swallow Motel, if that’s a site more to your liking.
