A closer look at McLean, Texas

McLean, Texas

The Once Upon a Town project — a collaborative film effort that explores historic towns in Texas — recently completed an eight-minute film about the Route 66 community of McLean, Texas.

You’ll see longtime Route 66 advocate Delbert Trew interviewed, along with a lot of nice drone-aircraft footage of McLean.

The Devil’s Rope Museum in McLean — which also doubles as Texas’ Route 66 museum — also is featured prominently in the film.

This is a very nice video. I’m sorry that I didn’t stay longer the last time I passed through McLean but I’ll make a point of it, next time I’m there. Those two museums are definitely on my itinerary
