Aerial views of New Mexico

New Mexico film screen cap

Flightgeist, a company out of New York that specializes in aerial photography by drone, recently posted this breathtaking and well-edited video from various spots around New Mexico, including Route 66.

Roadtrip New Mexico from FLIGHTGEIST on Vimeo.

From the description of the film:

A car, a map, a drone, and a one week adventure through New Mexico’s epic landscapes. We traveled over 1000 miles through windswept deserts, foggy forests and snow capped mountains, pushing the camera and the craft to their limits.
Locations include: Highway 14 from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, Santa Fe National Forest, Taos, Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway, Eagle Nest State Park, Gallup, Shiprock, The Bisti Badlands, and Historic Rte 66. […]
Large amounts of green chile sauce and tacos was consumed during the filming of this video.

  1. That was terrific. Been years since I’ve visited NM. The worst part of the video was that it was only 3 minutes long. 😉
