Grand marshals for the parade were Dries Bessels and Marion Flimm of the Dutch Route 66 Association. Music for the video is “Kings of Kingman” by The Road Crew.

In addition to the above names, veteran roadies probably will see a few other familiar faces.
Route 66 has become an entertainment corridor with a numerous festivals all year. Although initially I was disappointed that there was not one featured as “The Festival” I enjoy seeing all the small towns showing their colors. There are more opportunities to attend in your neighborhood.
