Dutch Route 66 guidebook published

Longtime Route 66 enthusiast Dries Bessels recently published a Dutch Route 66 guidebook as a fundraiser for the Dutch Route 66 Association.

The book, which is in the Dutch language, contains more than 700 photographs and is 220 pages.

Bessels wrote in an email:

The book is a perfect complement for Jerry McClanahan’s EZ Guide in that it does not tell you where to go left or right, Jerry is much better at that, but it will tell you what to see, where to stop and what to do. […] All profits go to the Dutch Route 66 Association.

Any updates to the text may be found at this webpage here.

Here are a couple of sample pages from the guidebook:

Bessels said the the book can be ordered within the Netherlands by transferring 32,95 euros on IBAN NL86INGB0004912104 to A. Bessels.

Those from outside the Netherlands who want to buy a copy can email Bessels directly at dries(at)rte66(dot)nl . Payment by PayPal is available through dries(at)bessels(dot)org
