Justin Scarred returns to Route 66 in Arizona

Justin Scarred, the popular videoblogger for Randomland Adventures, and his girlfriend recently returned to Route 66 in Arizona to check out the sights in Seligman.

He also visited the sprawling Bedrock City and Grand Canyon Deer Farm, both of which are near Williams, Arizona; and Grand Canyon National Park, a popular side trip for Route 66 travelers.

As usual, there’s plenty of frivolity during the video, but Scarred also shows a lot of love and interest in Route 66.

A few things I learned from the video:

  • Bedrock City was for sale a few years ago, but the apparently the owners decided to keep it a while longer.
  • Seligman Grocery, which sits a few blocks north of Route 66, apparently has closed. That’s a shame; walking into that business was like a step back in time.
  • Grand Canyon Deer Farm is for sale.

Scarred also was featured in the current issue of ROUTE magazine.

  1. What a hoot!!

If Penn Jillette ever needs a Teller stand-in or replacement, Ally Warren certainly has experience with the nearly-always-silent role.
