Hot rodder Ken Block shows his driving skills in Shamrock

This is from the “Don’t try this unless you’re a pro” chapter.

Ken Block of Hoonigan Racing recently showed his driving and burn-out skills on the streets of Shamrock, Texas, including Route 66. It’s hair-raising to see how close he comes to slamming into the supports of those old gas stations in town.

KAMR-TV in Amarillo reports:

The truck is a 1977 Ford F-150 with a 3.5L V6 Twin Turbo engine that has 914HP and 702 ft pound of torque. He is driving on Toyo Tires 315/35R20.

Block drifts through, around and near several locations like the U-Drop-Inn, Magnolia Gas Station and down main street. He even drives under a crop sprayer.

It the embedding doesn’t work, just skip to 12:58 for the Shamrock segment.

Of course, it’s also easier to accomplish these feats when traffic was blocked off during his stunts, which is apparent and proper.
