Blowin’ in the wind: Porta Potty cruises down Route 66 in Albuquerque

Albuquerque motorists on Route 66 on Tuesday were treated to a weird sight: a wind-blown Porta Potty scooting down the Mother Road.

Roll tape:

KOAT-TV in Albuquerque broke the story from a viewer:

The port-a-potty was seen blowing down the street near Central and Tramway early Tuesday evening.
At this time there is no word on where the port-a-potty originated from.
No injuries were reported, but there’s no word on what kind of mess it made when it finally came to a stop.

Tuesday was a day where winds from a storm system uprooted trees and caused widespread power outages in the city.

The story was picked up by the Associated Press, which distributes to hundreds of news outlets around the globe.
