The Czech Route 66 Association announced last month it’s created an app for its Radio 66 online radio station for smartphones.
The app is available both with Google Play and Apple app stores. The link to the Google Android app is here. The Apple app can be found here.
The association stated on Facebook:
Radio 66 is an internet radio station operated by the Czech Route 66 Association. We’re broadcasting 24/7 from our Czech studio in Zlin and from the Home 66 studio in Rakova, Slovakia. Thanks to our mobile broadcasting studio we are also able to spread our program from anywhere to everywhere!
Radio 66 skews mostly to classic rock ‘n’ roll and blues, with the occasional reference to Route 66 sprinkled in.
For example, one of the songs on the playlists I checked out included “Lights of Albuquerque” by Jim Glaser.
