Sunflower Station in Adrian has new owners

Fran Houser’s Sunflower Station, a gift shop housed in a former gas station next to the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, Texas, recently acquired new owners.

Jason and Kelly Snyder, who are enthusiasts of Route 66 and motorcycles, acquired the property and will become full-time residents of Adrian in early September, Houser stated in a Facebook post on Sunday:

Houser, the former longtime owner of the Midpoint Cafe, started Sunflower Station after she sold the restaurant in 2012. She put it up for sale two years later because she wished to travel more to see friends and family.

Houser posted on Tuesday an announcement about a going-out-of-business sale, including some items that may be of interest to Route 66 aficionadoes:
