The call of the desert

The is Celine Dion's version of "I'm Calling You," the centerpiece song from the 1990 movie "Bagdad Cafe." The film was shot on Route 66 and the Bagdad Cafe, in Newberry Springs, Calif. Many of the shots in this slideshow are at the cafe, along with other Mother Road landmarks such as Amboy Crater.
