Kidzeum of Health and Science in Springfield opens a Route 66 exhibit

The Kidzeum of Health and Science in Springfield, Illinois, recently opened a new exhibit, “The Road to Adventure: Exploring Route 66.”

The new exhibit was part of a celebration marking the children’s museum’s seventh anniversary.

The Road to Adventure: Exploring Rt. 66 invites guests to hit the road on a hands-on journey down America’s most iconic highway. Families will explore science, history, and culture through interactive experiences inspired by Route 66 travel and innovation.

The children’s museum is at 416 E. Adams St., only a block west of the South Fifth Street alignment of Route 66.

It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
