Garage sale would go for miles and miles

Bruce Huskins wants to start an annual garage sale along the shoulder of old Route 66 from Elkhart to Atlanta, Ill., on Memorial Day weekend, reports the Lincoln (Ill.) Courier. Fordham University in New York is hosting a two-person photography exhibition, "In the City and the Mother Road: Route 66," by Doug Muir and Michael Putnam through Feb. 10.
