BURBANK, Calif., May 9 /PRNewswire/ — The World Premiere of Disney/Pixar's exciting new computer-animated feature, "CARS," on Friday, May 26th at Lowe's Motor Speedway at Charlotte, (N.C.) is a complete sell-out nearly one month before the event, with more than 30,000 fans racing to buy tickets, it was announced today (5/9/06) by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Buena Vista Pictures Distribution.
While the World Premiere of Disney/Pixar’s exciting new computer-animated featurer, “CARS,” is sold out, the Oklahoma Library Association is hosting a pre-screening of the movie on June 3 at Harkins Theater in Bricktown, Oklahoma City. The movie starts at 3 p.m. and is followed by a private dinner for patron-level sponsors at the Governor’s Mansion. Movie tickets are $50 ($20 if you belong to a “Friends of the Library” organization) and the dinner is $150 (includes the movie.) Movie-goers will be treated to a “movie preview” presented by Michael Wallis, voice of The Sherriff and will also receive a movie poster. WOW that is very cool indeed! I’d love to be there. I’d also love to be at the Oklahoma Library Association screening with Michael Wallis. That would definitly be a treat.
