Behind the music of Cars Land

The folks at the Disney Parks Blog took a video camera into a recording studio, where Disneyland house band Billy Hill and the Hillbillies recorded music for tourists when they eventually enter Cars Land.

Cars Land is inspired by the fictional Route 66 town of Radiator Springs, as depicted in the Disney-Pixar films “Cars” and “Cars 2.” Cars Land will open to the public June 15.

  1. Cars Land is strugglin’! Tried to convince six kids with nine grandkids to go for LA. They opted for Orlando because of the other highlights nearby offshore. I don’t blame ’em… I would too. Disney would be better off making many more age difference compatibility attractions rather than hampering on the “original” Cars which was released many moons ago. Wish it were not so, but animated theme parks are almost outdated before they are completed, just before new fangled cell phones are released. Conclusion, and fact of the matter is… the newer generations are way ahead of their own time. Orlando, FL. is the final decision.
