Interview with “The 66 Kid” author

Bob Boze Bell in Jail

Artist and western historian Bob Boze Bell was interviewed for about 13 minutes by a PBS television station at Arizona State University about his new biography, “The 66 Kid: Raised on the Mother Road,” that deals primarily with his childhood in the Route 66 town of Kingman, Arizona.

I’ve embedded the video so it would start at the Bell interview. However, the first half of the video has an interview with a historian who wrote a novel based on the only woman lynched for cattle rustling. So you may find that interesting as well.

You can read my review of Bell’s book here. You can order the book here.
