Band’s music video features Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios as a backdrop

Oklahoma-based punk-pop band Thru It All recently shot a music video for “Irrelevant,” a song from its forthcoming EP, that features that city’s Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios on 66 prominently.

The moments with Mary Beth Babcock’s shop — and its huge Buck Atom fiberglass statue — begin about the 30-second mark.

I recognized several other locations in downtown Tulsa in the video.

Props to the drummer for keeping up with the time changes. Thru It All’s four-song EP will be released on Dec. 3.

Babcock always has been an enthusiastic supporter of Oklahoma artists and musicians. So letting a Sooner State band shoot a video at her Route 66-based store is totally on-brand with her.
