Snow Cap Drive-In in Seligman sets a Guinness world record with 266 different milkshakes

The Snow Cap Drive-In in Seligman, Arizona, on Saturday set a Guinness world record by serving 266 different flavors of milkshakes.

The event was part of the Mobil 1 “Keep Route 66 Kickin'” tour that includes a specially made Muffler Man in tow.

The landmark Route 66 restaurant and others posted photos when the record was made:

Angel Delgadillo’s gift shop down the street extended congratulations and had one stomach-turning tidbit of information about the record bid — an Oreo, salsa, turkey and root beer shake:

Mobil 1 will attempt to shepherd two more world records during its tour — the world’s largest corndog at the Clown Dog in Albuquerque on Sept. 24 and the most dogs at a drive-in at the Sky View Drive-In theater in Litchfield, Illinois, on Oct. 9.
