Dream Maker Station opens in Adrian on April 1

The Dream Maker Station, formerly the Sunflower Station next to the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, Texas, will open to the public on April 1.

Hours will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Grilling times for visitors will be from 4 to 8 p.m. starting May 1. Those times were chosen so the station wouldn’t conflict with the Midpoint Cafe. Coffee will be served all day.

Dream Maker Station, which also will sell souvenirs, will serve as Bunk-a-Biker hosts to allow overnight camping for cyclists and bikers.

Jason and Kelly Snyder acquired the former gas station in mid-2021 and planned to open Dream Maker Station in 2023, but a series of health issues delayed that.

Fran Houser, the former longtime owner of the Midpoint Cafe, started Sunflower Station after she sold the restaurant in 2012. She put it up for sale two years later because she wished to travel more to see friends and family.
