Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum of Sapulpa offers a new route of vintage car rides

The Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, this year is offering a new route to ride in vintage automobiles.

This year’s vintage cars available to ride are a 1923 Packard or a 1923 Cadillac. There will be two route options for the Packard rides and one for the Cadillac.

Visitors choosing the Packard can choose between a drive to Pretty Water Lake or through downtown Sapulpa.

Riders choosing the Cadillac will go on the scenic road to Pretty Water Lake only. Rides originate at the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum.

The vintage car rides will take place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon through the end of the summer. Prices are $15 per person, which includes admission to the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum, showcasing retro and historic cars. And there will be popcorn.

“Visitors are always excited about the opportunity to ride in a 100-year-old car. We are so fortunate to offer two cars this year,” said Richard K. Holmes, museum president and founder. “And it’s a bargain at $15 per person, which will get you a ride and entry into the museum.”

People can book rides by calling the museum at (918) 216-1171.
