Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios in Tulsa makes an appearance in a new Hanson music video

The music trio Hanson dropped a new music video about a week ago, and it contains several seconds of footage outside and inside Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios on 66 gift shop in Tulsa.

The music video is for “Write You a Song,” which is on a forthcoming Hanson album titled “Red Green Blue.” The video features guitarist Isaac Hanson with his daughter, Odette.

The Buck Atom’s footage begins about the 40-second mark:

Buck Atom’s owner Mary Beth Babcock posted a few images from during the music video shoot:

Hanson wrote on its Facebook page:

Write You A Song is about holding on to the things that really matter in life, those simple daily moments that are precious and honest and go by so fast.

Hanson remains best-known for its massive worldwide hit “MMMBop” more than 25 years ago, but the three brothers — all of whom were born in Tulsa — continue to release well-regarded albums and are boosters of their hometown.

Babcock also has been a tireless Tulsa advocate, so the Hansons probably thought it was good to return the favor.
