Route 66 enthusiasts and supporters can now celebrate the Route 66 centennial with newly released commemorative bumper stickers.
The collection features nine bumper stickers — one representing each of the eight states traversed by Route 66, plus a special national Route 66 Centennial design.
Each bumper sticker is priced at $10.
“These bumper stickers are a simple but powerful way for people to be part of the Route 66 centennial,” said Bill Thomas, chair of the Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership and commissioner of the Route 66 Centennial Commission.
“No matter where you live — along the Mother Road or across the country or around the world — everyone can celebrate this historic milestone and help keep the spirit of Route 66 alive.”
Proceeds from bumper sticker sales support Route 66 centennial efforts, the Road Ahead’s Preservation and Economic Development grant program and help raise awareness of the road’s cultural, historical and economic significance — all designed to preserve America’s Main Street for future generations.
