Harland Williams tells about his Route 66 movie

Harland Williams, an actor, comedian and artist, gives a few details on his Web site about his in-production DreamWorks animated movie based on Route 66.

Well, time for some new details about the movie. Right now it’s tenatively called ROUTE 66. The story follows a group of eccentric roadside statues that mysteriously come to life and take a fun filled road trip along historic Route 66. It’s a fun-filled adventure with a bit of a love story thrown in as well. I’ll keep you posted!!

The IMDB Web site lists a 2007 release. I surfed the DreamWorks Web site, and found nothing about it. I hope the project is not endangered by DreamWorks being bought out by Paramount Pictures and a bunch of layoffs reported Thursday.
