The developers of the Texas DLC of American Truck Simulator videogame will include old Route 66 in Texas and a small part of eastern New Mexico in a forthcoming update.
SCS Software reports the game will include the 15 miles of gravel-road Route 66 from San Jon to Glenrio in New Mexico.
In the Lone Star State, travelers also will encounter the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, plus Cadillac Ranch and Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo.

Based on the detail seen in the preview still images from the game, gamers probably will see a lot of other lifelike detail along the Mother Road.
The game is available through the online Steam platform, though the release of the Texas Route 66 edition still hasn’t been announced.
